Our History
Formed in 1959 as a general agency for Central Life Assurance by Claire Strommen, AdvisorNet Insurance has grown to a full-service brokerage agency with multiple carriers offering life, disability and long-term care insurance as well as fixed and indexed annuities.
In 1980 Claire Strommen accepts the position of President, Lutheran Brotherhood. Wayne Swenson and Dan Anderson assume ownership.
In 1982 we expanded our carriers beyond Central Life to help our brokers better serve their client’s needs
Dan May joins the ownership team in 1997.
In 2006, we made a number of changes to better serve our brokers:
-Joined a large group of agencies like ours to provide access to a large number of carriers; leverage with underwriters; top payouts and no bias to favor a particular carrier.
-Hired a number of high caliber individuals to expand our wholesaling support and case management expertise in the large and advanced markets
As we rolled into 2007 we began moving to a state of the art technology platform that will greatly enhance productivity for us and our communication to you. We should be going live on January 1, 2008.
Finally, we have formalized a program for our top producers to share in the additional revenues from the carriers. Ask us how to become a part of this elite group!
